It’s funny how sometimes we don’t think of sharing with you the simplest recipes that we cook daily for our families, like this baked salmon with herbs . A quick and easy recipe to prepare with which we will eat like kings and take care of our health at the same time.
There are many ways to enjoy tasty baked salmon. In this case we will add an extra flavor thanks to aromatic herbs such as thyme or tarragon and a touch of Idiazábal cheese. Delicious!
When I put this dish in front of my children a few days ago, I was amused that both commented “what healthier food to prepare today” with a certain tone. I think they saw a lot of green on the plate and they weren’t very sure about it, but the fact is that they liked it, yes. And it is this very tasty way of preparing baked salmon with herbs . Do you dare?

In a bowl we mix the extra virgin olive oil with the herbs, the garlic powder and enough salt for the four pieces of salmon . Cover each of the loins with a tablespoon of the herb and garlic mixture. Grease a baking dish and place the salmon in it. We can place vegetables in the source so that they are baked at the same time as the fish, so we will also have the garnish ready.
We heat the oven, up and down, to 220ºC. When it has reached the appropriate temperature, we introduce the source in it, at medium height. Cook for 10 or 12 minutes, depending on the thickness of the pieces . Remove from the oven and serve immediately together with the garnish and some lemon slices.
With what to accompany the baked salmon with herbs
Now that the heat begins and that the body asks for lighter meals, it is a good time to prepare this baked salmon with herbs . Seasoning the fish in this way makes it very tasty and, if we give it the right baking point, we will have a juicy and very healthy snack before us. We can use any other fish, to taste.
PREPARATION

Peel and chop the garlic cloves.

Pour the grated bread and cheese and minced herbs and garlic into a large bowl.

Add the butter and a pinch of salt and freshly ground pepper and mix well.

Preheat the oven to 190º.

Place the salmon supreme skin side down on a sheet of parchment paper on a cookie sheet.

Spread the prepared mixture over the surface of the salmon, distributing it evenly with a spatula and put it in the oven at 190º for between 12 and 14 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fish, until the herb crust is lightly browned.

Spread the salmon on the plates and garnish with a few large tarragon leaves.
